Laser Technology Empowers China's First Airborne Suspended Train Test Run

China's first airborne suspended train adopts a technology-themed blue color scheme and features a 270° glass design, allowing passengers to overlook the city scenery from within the train. Laser technologies such as laser welding, laser cutting, laser marking and laser cooling technology are widely used in this amazing airborne suspended train.

Recently, the first airborne suspended train in China underwent a test run in Wuhan. The entire train adopts a technology-themed blue color scheme and features a 270° glass design, allowing passengers to overlook the city scenery from within the train. It truly feels like science fiction becoming a reality. Now, let's learn about the application of laser technology in the airborne train:

Laser Welding Technology

The top and body of the train must be well welded to ensure proper structural integrity for stable train operation. Laser welding technology enables seamless welding of the train's roof and body, ensuring a perfect combination and balanced overall structural strength of the train. Laser welding technology also plays an important role in the welding of critical components on the track.

Laser Cutting Technology

The front of the train has a bullet-shaped and aerodynamically efficient design, achieved through precise sheet metal cutting using laser cutting technology. Approximately 20% to 30% of the train's steel structural components, especially the driver's cab and body auxiliary devices, utilize laser technology for processing. Laser cutting facilitates automated control, making it suitable for cutting irregular shapes. It significantly shortens the production cycle, reduces manufacturing costs, and enhances product quality.

Laser Marking Technology

Within the quality control system, a micro-indentation marking and barcode management system is introduced. By utilizing a laser marking machine, component codes with a marking depth of 0.1mm are engraved on sheet metal parts. This allows for the transfer of original information regarding steel plate materials, component names, and codes. Effective management enables full-process quality tracking and enhances the level of quality management.

Laser Chiller Assisting Laser Processing for the Suspended Train

Various laser processing technologies used in airborne suspended trains require stable temperatures to ensure smooth operation, maintaining processing speed and precision. Therefore, a laser chiller is necessary to provide precise temperature control.

Specializing in laser chillers for 21 years, Teyu has developed over 90 chiller models suitable for more than 100 industries. Teyu industrial chiller systems offer stable cooling support for a variety of laser equipment, including laser cutting machines, laser welding machines, laser marking machines, laser scanners, and more. Teyu laser chillers ensure stable laser output and enable efficient and stable operation of laser equipment.
