The Role of Electric Water Pump in TEYU Ultrafast Laser Chiller CWUP-40

The electric pump is a key component contributing to the laser chiller CWUP-40's efficient cooling, which directly impacts the chiller's water flow and cooling performance. The role of the electric pump in the chiller includes circulating cooling water, maintaining pressure and flow, heat exchange, and preventing overheating. CWUP-40 uses a high-performance high-lift pump, with the maximum pump pressure options of 2.7 bar, 4.4 bar, and 5.3 bar, and a maximum pump flow of up to 75 L/min.

June 27, 2024

On June 18th, the TEYU Laser Chiller CWUP-40 was honored with the Secret Light Award 2024. This chiller meets the demands of ultrafast laser systems, ensuring cooling support for high-power and high-precision laser applications. Its industry recognition highlights its effectiveness. A key component contributing to the CWUP-40's efficient cooling is the electric water pump, which directly impacts the water flow and cooling performance of the chiller. Let's explore the role of the electric pump in the laser chiller:

1. Circulating Cooling Water: The water pump extracts cooling water from the condenser or evaporator of a chiller and circulates it through pipes to the cooled equipment, then returns the heated water to the chiller for cooling. This circulation process ensures the continuous operation and high efficiency of the cooling system.

2. Maintaining Pressure and Flow: By providing the appropriate pressure and flow, the water pump ensures that cooling water is evenly distributed throughout the system. This is crucial for maintaining the stability and efficiency of the cooling system. Insufficient pressure or flow can negatively impact the cooling effect.

3. Heat Exchange: The water pump aids the heat exchange process within the water chiller. In the condenser, heat transfers from the refrigerant to the cooling water, while in the evaporator, heat transfers from the cooling water to the refrigerant. The water pump maintains the circulation of cooling water, ensuring the continuous heat exchange process.

4. Preventing Overheating: The water pump continuously circulates cooling water, helping prevent components within the chiller system from overheating. This is essential for protecting the equipment, extending its lifespan, and ensuring safe operation.
