Comparing with traditional solid-state lasers, fiber lasers are characterized by the following advantages: simple structure, low threshold value, good heat dispersion, high photovoltaic conversion efficiency and high-quality beam. The well known foreign brands of fiber lasers include Coherence, IPG,SPI,TRUMPF and nLIGHT. Mr. Gabor from Hungary owns a laser equipment company which has a branch office in Romania. His company mainly uses 1KW and 10.8KW nLight fiber lasers and 2-4KW IPG fiber lasers.
