One of our customers uses S&A Teyu CWUL-10 water chiller for the cooling of UV laser with low optical loss
The UV laser light source that must be cooled with a water chiller has high requirement on the temperature control precision of water chiller to guarantee a small fluctuation in water temperature. This is because that an increase in water temperature fluctuation will lead to more optical loss, which would affect both of the laser processing cost and the service life of laser.
According to the requirement of UV laser, S&A Teyu launches CWUL-10 water chiller that has been designed purposely for UV laser.
The 15W Inno and Newport UV lasers used by the customer require the temperature difference within a range of ±0.1 ℃, and the customer chooses S&A Teyu CWUL-10 water chiller (±0.3 ℃ ). After the operation for one year, the optical loss is measured less than 0.1W, which indicates that S&A Teyu CWUL-10 water chiller has a small fluctuation in water temperature with stable water pressure that can fully meet the cooling requirement of 15W UV laser.
