Many people tend to think that refrigeration chiller is better than passive cooling industrial cooler in cooling laser device, for refrigeration chiller has more powerful refrigeration capability. Well, this is not true. Selecting water chiller should be based on the heat load and the laser power of the laser device. If the passive cooling industrial cooler suffices to cool down the laser device, it is not necessary to add refrigeration chiller. The guideline is that no matter what kind of water chiller it is, it has to meet the cooling requirement of the laser device.
