As we know, laser is a heat generating component. The bigger the power, the more heat it will generate. Some small power lasers only need air cooling to dissipate the heat effectively. However, as the power increases, air cooling is not sufficient to take way the heat and that needs water cooling. Water cooling is more preferred by laser users in that it is less noisy and the temperature can be regulated. By water cooling, we often refer to industrial water chiller.
