In summer, the temperature rises, and the antifreeze does not need to work, how to replace the antifreeze? S&A chiller engineers give four main steps of operation.
When the temperature is too low, the laser chiller cannot be started because the water temperature is too low (or the circulating water freezes). Adding a certain proportion of antifreeze to the chiller circulating water can solve this problem. However, antifreeze is corrosive to a certain extent, and long-term use will cause damage to the chiller circulating waterway, laser and cutting head components, resulting in unnecessary losses. In summer, the temperature rises, and the antifreeze does not need to work, how to replace the antifreeze?
Steps to replace antifreeze:
1. Open the water outlet of the laser chiller, drain the circulating water in the water tank, and clean the pipeline. If it is a small model, the fuselage needs to be tilted to completely discharge the clean circulating water.
2. Drain the circulating water in the laser pipeline and clean the pipeline.
3. Using antifreeze for a long time will produce certain floccules, which will be attached to the filter screen and filter element of the laser chiller. The filter screen and filter element also need to be cleaned.
4. After emptying and cleaning the circulating water circuit, add an appropriate amount of pure water or distilled water to the water tank of the laser chiller. There are many impurities in the tap water, which can easily lead to blockage of the pipeline and it's not recommended to use it.
