Difference between green laser, blue laser, UV laser and fiber laser

No matter what kind of laser source it is,it tends to generate heat. To take away the heat,a water cooling chiller would be ideal. S&A Teyu develops water cooling chillers suitable for cooling different kinds of lase sources. The recirculating water chiller ranges from 0.6KW to 30KW in terms of cooling capacity and offers different temperature stability for selection.

In the current laser market, there are quite many kinds of laser sources. They all have different applications and what they can achieve and what they can work on are also different. Today, we are going to talk about the difference between green laser, blue laser, UV laser and fiber laser.

For blue laser and green laser, the wavelength is 532nm. They have very small laser spot and shorter focal length. They play an important role in precision cutting in ceramics, jewelry, glasses and so on.

For UV laser, the wavelength is 355nm. Laser with this wavelength is almighty, meaning it can work on nearly any kinds of materials. It also has very small laser spot. Because of its unique wave length, UV laser can perform laser cutting, laser marking and laser welding. It can do the job that fiber laser or CO2 laser can’t do. UV laser is particularly suitable for laser processing that requires ultra-high precision and clear & burr-free surface.

Fiber laser has a wave length of 1064nm and plays an important role in metal cutting and welding. And its laser power continues to grow year by year. By now, the biggest fiber laser cutter has reached 40KW and completely replaced traditional wire-electrode cutting technique.

No matter what kind of laser source it is, it tends to generate heat. To take away the heat, a water cooling chiller would be ideal. S&A Teyu develops water cooling chillers suitable for cooling different kinds of lase sources. The recirculating water chiller ranges from 0.6KW to 30KW in terms of cooling capacity and offers different temperature stability for selection -- ±1℃,±0.5℃, ±0.3℃, ±0.2℃ and ±0.1℃. Different temperature stability can meet different temperature control demand of different kinds of lasers. Go find out your ideal laser water chiller at https://www.chillermanual.net
