With Heating Rod, a German Compact Recirculating Chiller User No Longer Had to Worry About the Water Freezing Problem in This Winter

Mr. Weber: Hello. I am from Germany and I have a CO2 laser cutter and your compact recirculating chiller CW-5000 came with this cutter.

Mr. Weber: Hello. I am from Germany and I have a CO2 laser cutter and your compact recirculating chiller CW-5000 came with this cutter. I have been using your CW-5000 water chiller for a few months and it’s running perfectly. But since winter has come, I am so worried about the chiller might shut down because of the frozen water. Do you have any advice?

S&A Teyu: Well, adding a heating rod could help. It starts to work when the water temperature is 0.1℃ lower than the set temperature. Therefore, the water temperature of your CW-5000 water chiller can always be above 0℃ to avoid freezing.

Mr. Weber: That’s great! Where can I buy this heating rod?

S&A Teyu: You can contact our service points in Europe. In addition, adding anti-freezer(glycol as main component) is another way to keep the circulating water from freezing.

Mr. Weber: Thanks for your useful advice! You guys are really helpful!
