Is tap water appropriate for industrial water cooling system which cools laser spot welding machine? That is a question asked by many new users. Well, that is not suggested. Tap water is full of foreign bodies which can cause water blockage in the water channel. And water blockage will lead to bad water flow inside the laser cooling system, which would eventually affect the refrigeration performance and thus the welding quality. The best candidate for circulating water is purified water or clean distilled water or DI water.
