Inner laser engraving is an amazing combination when laser technique meets engraving

Laser engraving can be divided into outer laser engraving and inner laser engraving. Comparing with outer laser engraving, inner laser engraving is much more complicated but with better artistic effect. It can create certain patterns or characters inside the plastic materials or hard materials that are able to carve or engrave, creating a very vivid or 3D effect.

Since inner laser engraving is more complicated, its working principle is more difficult. The laser light beam will go through some optical parts like beam expander or field lens and enter into transparent objects like glass, crystal, acrylic, etc. from different angles and then laser light beam will meet at a certain spot accurately. In this situation, the optical energy will turn into heat energy to make that spot blast. These tiny blasted spots will be arranged according to different patterns and light and shade value to become the expected patterns. It is complicated, but the effect worth the complicated procedures.
