The solution to the low water flow of laser marking chiller

The laser marking chiller will encounter some faults in use. When such a situation occurs, we need to make timely judgments and eliminate the faults, so that the chiller can quickly resume cooling without affecting the production. S&A engineers have summarized some causes, troubleshooting methods, and solutions for water flow alarms for you.

The laser marking chiller will encounter some faults in use. When such a situation occurs, we need to make timely judgments and eliminate the faults, so that the chiller can quickly resume cooling without affecting the production. Today, let's talk about the solution to the low water flow in the Teyu chiller.

When the flow rate is too low, the chiller will beep, and the alarm code and water temperature will be displayed alternately on the temperature control panel. In this state, press any key to pause the alarm sound. But the alarm display still cannot stop until the alarm state is cleared.

The following are some causes and troubleshooting methods of water flow alarms  summarized by S&A engineers:

1. The water level is low, or the pipeline is leaking
The troubleshooting method is to check the tank water level.

2. The external pipeline is blocked
The troubleshooting method is to short-circuit the self-circulation test of the water inlet and outlet of the chiller to check whether the pipeline is smooth.

3. The small flow of the circulating water circuit causes the chiller E01 alarm
The troubleshooting method is to check the actual flow after disassembling the (INLET) port water pipe (power-on operation). Explanation: here is the water inlet of the customer equipment connected to the chiller. If the flow rate is large, it is a flow alarm caused by the failure of the chiller. If the flow rate is small, it is considered that there is a problem with the water outlet from the external or laser.

4. The flow sensor (the internal impeller is stuck) fails to detect and causes false alarms
The troubleshooting method is (shutdown operation) (INLET) port water pipe and joint to see if the internal impeller (rotation) is stuck.

Methods:
1. Add water to the green and yellow zone lines
2. The machine resumes use after the impeller inside the flow sensor rotates smoothly
3. Confirm that the water flow is normal. Flow sensor alarms can be paused and machine accessories can be replaced.

Hope to help you eliminate the problem of chiller flow alarm through the above knowledge. S&A has rich experience in chiller manufacturing and good after-sales service. If you have any product doubts and after-sales problems, please contact our relevant colleagues, and we will do our best to help you solve the problem.
