Features of UV inkjet printer and its cooling system

Most UV printers function best within 20℃-28℃, making precise temperature control with cooling equipment essential. With TEYU Chiller’s precise temperature control technology, UV inkjet printers can avoid overheating issues and effectively minimize ink breakage and clogged nozzles while protecting the UV printer and ensuring its stable ink output.

UV inkjet printer is a highly efficient printing technology that offers numerous benefits. It boasts a fast printing speed, high precision, and rich and beautiful colors, all while consuming low power and being environmentally friendly. Additionally, it is a widely applicable technology that can be used on various materials, including roll materials and plates.

UV inkjet printers are available in different variations, including UV roll-to-roll printers for soft films, car stickers, knife-scraping cloth, wallpaper, etc. There are also UV flatbed printers ideal for sheets like glass, acrylic, and ceramic tiles. Another hybrid type is a combination of both (flatbed and roll-to-roll) for versatility. The benefit of this is that you can print multiple materials with just one machine, which can help you save up to 50% of costs.

The material treated by the UV printing machine enables quick drying of ink due to the UV LED's curing. Generally, standard UV LEDs emit sufficient UV energy. However, UV-LEDs act not only as a light source but also as a heat source, generating significant heat during the printing process. Elevated temperatures can adversely affect the flow and viscosity of UV ink, leading to suboptimal print quality. Most UV printers function best within a temperature range of 20℃-28℃, making precise temperature control with cooling equipment essential. With TEYU S&A Chiller’s precise temperature control technology, UV inkjet printers can avoid overheating issues and effectively minimize ink breakage and clogged nozzles while protecting the UV printer and ensuring its stable ink output during long-time operation.

TEYU CW series water chillers are mainly used to cool UV inkjet printers, spindle engraving machines, CO2 laser cutting machine, marking equipment, argon arc welders, etc. The cooling capacity ranges from 890W to 41KW, meeting the cooling needs of various production equipment in multiple power ranges. The temperature stability is available in ±0.3℃, ±0.5℃, and ±1℃ options. We’ve sorted several application images of our CW series chillers cooling UV inkjet printers and welcome you to view and discuss them~
